ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS


Steadfast Training Systems (STS) offers an innovative approach to training – building on a solid athletic foundation while staying focused on each athlete's individual goals. Our unique program includes instruction in movement training, injury reduction and rehabilitation, linear and lateral speed techniques, foot speed and agility, explosive power development, proper functional strength training and energy system conditioning. Athletes are closely supervised as the coach takes them through an intense 90-minute workout with attention always being paid to proper technique and safety.

THE WORKOUT

The workout consists of functionally sound movement training, strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on basic and proper technique. The workout becomes progressively more challenging once basic techniques have been mastered. All groups are lead by our qualified staff members  to allow maximum attention.

YOUTH PERFORMANCE


The primary purpose of our Youth Performance program is to prepare young athletes for the future. Research has shown that early fitness related experiences hold the greatest correlation to adult fitness levels. One of our primary goals is to give these athletes a fun and exciting environment where they can improve their performance and create a passion for fitness and wellness.

We believe that a large percent of youth athletes are missing an extremely important piece of the development progression. Many youth athletes are choosing or, even worse, being forced to specialize too early and spend all year focused on one sport. This may seem like the only way to achieve their goals but it is unknowingly putting them at a severe disadvantage. There are certain “windows” in a young athletes life that they are particularly adept at acquiring and sharpening certain skills. These skills create a foundation for the athlete to build the necessary strength, speed, power and endurance required to compete at the highest levels.

The athletes that are specializing early are basically limiting their foundation to a small number of skills. This has a performance-inhibiting effect, and more importantly, it puts these athletes at an increased risk for serious injury. Single-sport participation puts repetitive stresses on those young bodies and limits the broad-spectrum skill acquisition that is so vital to elite status.

We structure our training around the concept that athletes from ages 8 – 14 have the capacity to learn and develop large amounts of skills and abilities that will manifest into both short-term and long-term success. In these cases, athletes often lack the skills that create a foundation for building strength, speed, power and endurance required to compete at the highest levels.

HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGIATE ATHLETES

At these ages, hormonally and physiologically speaking, the athlete is primed to increase lean tissue (muscle), strength, power, speed and overall performance. The training process now aims at improving these abilities through a comprehensive program built around the individual needs of the athlete. Our assessment and screening process becomes more important and the movement dysfunction associated with each athlete dictates the specifics of their program.

 

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES

At these ages, hormonally and physiologically speaking, the athlete is primed to increase lean tissue (muscle), strength, power, speed and overall performance. The training process now aims at improving these abilities through a comprehensive program built around the individual needs of the athlete. Our assessment and screening process becomes more important and the movement dysfunction associated with each athlete dictates the specifics of their program.

 

COLLEGIATE ATHLETES

For athletes looking to compete at the collegiate level in their sport, our collegiate athlete development plan combines the necessary off-season program as well as injury prevention benefits. Our protocol is based on tried and true formulas designed to optimize each athlete’s athletic abilities, as well as prepare him or her for the rigors of college athletics.

College athletes working with us are expected to be available 4-5 days per week to train in order to maximize their results. Individuals who are willing to demonstrate such consistency and push themselves to be better each and every day will be rewarded with greater all-around athletic ability, injury resiliency, and preparedness for the upcoming season.

IN-SEASON TRAINING

Steadfast Training Systems'  in-season program is designed to help athletes maintain strength throughout their season. Most in-season athletes come into the gym 1-2 times per week, working around their competition schedule.

PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES

Even as a professional athlete, it’s possible to get bigger, faster and stronger. Using our proven techniques and programming, we will work dilligently with you on your quest to leave a lasting legacy in your sport. Our focus on speed, power and agility will give you the edge you need to allow you to play better now and continue playing at the highest level for years to come.

TEAM TRAINING

If your team is ready to take its preseason training up a notch, STS’s Team Training program is for you. Our carefully designed programs will get your team both mentally and physically ready for the upcoming season. Our coaches design each program based on the needs of your team and specific sport. On top of getting elite strength training and speed coaching, your athletes will expererience a unique team bonding experience as they work side-by-side in the weightroom toward a common goal. All athletes, from captain to third string, will be pushed and held accountable by one another to forge bonds that will translate onto the field.
